JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position leads and manages the compliance plan. Establishes partnerships with significant third parties. Coordinates contacts with Fiat, central and regional compliance, risk, and the pertinent local organisations and teams. Ensures that all compliance obligations are met and optimized.

ROLES:

Responsibilities

Review and implement regulatory changes. Provides training to the business as required.
Generate pan-Fiat compliance plan with joint efforts from cross functions. To ensure it is managed in accordance with the BU’s objectives. To ensure best practices are embedded in the Fiat products and services.
Providing advice and as necessary management of any part.
Compliance plan and preparing reports as required
Lead interactions and relationships with 3rd party payment providers. Banks, and regulators on behalf of Fiat team for compliance activities. including leading on DD and reverse DD interaction.
Provide advice to staff. Training and support as necessary to ensure adherence. To ensure the Fiat compliance plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements

Strong experience of Compliance in a similar environment (ideally Crypto / Fintech / Payments), with minimum of seven years experience
Knowledge of major regulatory regimes, e.g. FCA, ACPR/AMF, BoL, MSA, etc
Ability to communicate and discuss issues with senior personnel within Regulated companies, payment provider, and financial institutions
Ability to effectively organize allocated work activities and plan workload, with good execution credentials
Ability to provide and communicate advice & guidance in a practical & commercial manner
Strong attention to detail
Interest in EU/UK/APAC crypto related regulations
Excellent literacy and communication skills, with ability to influence, negotiate, and a strong track record of implementation
Proficient in the use of usual office software packages, with first hand experience of the industry leading compliance tools a plus
Fluent in English, other languages helpful.
