We are happy to announce to you that Kenya Airway, Lagos, Nigeria is recruiting a senior engineer for the post of line maintenance outstations. below are the details about the post.
Post responsibilities:
- Add upkeep-related information to the daily tail assignment to support network requirements
- Coordinate all fleet maintenance tasks by correctly diagnosing fleet health monitoring systems and reliability data and entering them into the daily work package.
- Identify required tooling and material requirements for all planned work is identified and maintenance instructions for all defects is tabulated in the work package
- Directing troubleshooting in the event of an AOG or a schedule interruption defect
- Identifying fleet maintenance requirements at the daily maintenance preparation meeting
- Monitoring & management of repeat defects, coordinating with engineering on corrective actions
- Generate reports that show the specific fleet availability, reliability and aircraft health
Job post Experience, Knowledge and Abilities:
- A diploma in engineering or a related degree from a recognized institution is required.
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License (AMEL) holder in any of the following categories: Category B1 (Airframes in Category ‘A’ and Engines in Category ‘C’); or Category B2 (Electrical, Instruments, Automatic Pilot, and R-Radio).
- Aircraft type training (added benefit from EASA) and fleet approvals.
- Current in all mandatory courses, as specified for area and license Qualifications Supplementary.
- Evidence of using Approvals held in connection with his License.
- Has completed the mandatory online recurrent training.
- Possess training credentials on various discipline related aircraft standards, regulations, policies and procedures
- Minimum 10 years (added advantage if at KQ) in Aircraft Maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on relevant fleet, supervising Engineers.
