EEDC is searching for a “System Administrator” who will be in charge of infrastructure design, implementation, and monitoring. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of computer networks and operating systems, and they should be able to apply troubleshooting techniques to solve problems quickly and efficiently. In addition, the System Administrator should have excellent communication skills, a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and be able to work under pressure. With the right qualifications and experience, this position offers the potential to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can make a difference. The successful candidate must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of computer software and hardware and be able to install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade various systems.

Required Candidate’s Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
• Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator for a minimum of 5+ years
• In-depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.
• Familiarity with server administration tools: VMWare, SAN management and concepts, or equivalent
cloud technologies.

System Administrator- EEDC

• Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting.
• Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP.
• Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE, and LPIC) will be considered an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
The duly selected person will be offered a suitable grade/scale matching skill sets, experience, and overall
competencies.
